Malpeque - One of Canada’s Largest Modular Builds

The Malpeque Modular Housing Development is a landmark affordable housing initiative and the largest modular building project of its kind in Canada. Located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, the project is being delivered in partnership with the Government of Prince Edward Island and 720 Modular.  

This large‑scale, multi‑unit development will deliver 145 thoughtfully designed homes to support diverse housing needs within the community creating a balanced, inclusive residential environment. The project includes:

• 82 studio and one‑bedroom units dedicated to senior living.
• 63 one, two and three‑bedroom homes designed for families.

As one of Canada’s largest modular housing builds, the Malpeque development stands as a significant milestone in expanding access to affordable housing and advancing modular construction as a proven solution for future‑focused residential communities.
