CHANCES Daycare

The CHANCES Daycare project is a purpose‑built modular childcare facility designed to support early learning, family needs, and community growth in Cornwall, Prince Edward Island. Delivered in partnership with CHANCES Daycare, this project demonstrates how modular construction can provide fast, high‑quality solutions for essential community infrastructure. 

The facility includes six bright, functional classrooms designed to support up to 60 children, including 24 infant spaces. Thoughtfully planned layouts prioritize safety, accessibility, and age‑appropriate learning environments, creating a welcoming and nurturing space for children to learn, grow, and thrive. 

Constructed using four precision‑built modules, the entire building was delivered and set on site in a single day, significantly reducing disruption and accelerating the build schedule. From design through completion, the project was delivered in approximately four months, highlighting the speed and efficiency possible through modular construction. 

By prefabricating the building off‑site in a controlled manufacturing environment, the CHANCES Daycare project achieved strong quality control, minimized material waste, and ensured a predictable, streamlined construction process. As a modern childcare facility built with families in mind, this project showcases how modular construction can deliver sustainable, community‑focused spaces quickly and effectively.
